Our comprehensive Service Dog training program is designed to set your dog up for success in performing essential service tasks through a structured, one-on-one approach that guarantees results. This program is broken down into three key phases to ensure consistent progress and bonding with the owner while mastering essential skills.

 

Phase 1: Two-Week Basic Obedience Board & Train

In the initial two weeks, your dog will stay with us for intensive, hands-on training focused on foundational obedience skills. During this time, we establish crucial behaviors, including commands such as sit, stay, come, and leash manners, laying the groundwork for more advanced service tasks. Each session is one-on-one, allowing us to adapt the training to your dog’s unique personality and needs.

 

Phase 2: Four-Week Home Transition

After the initial board & train, your dog returns home for four weeks to practice and reinforce their new skills in the real-world environment. This time with the owner is essential for deepening the dog’s understanding of commands within the family setting, allowing you to apply what they’ve learned daily. During this period, we provide guidance and ongoing support to help you maintain and improve their progress at home.

 

Phase 3: Two-Week Advanced Service Training Board & Train

Following the home transition period, your dog comes back to us for a final two weeks to work on advanced skills tailored to their specific service role. This phase focuses on refining tasks such as mobility assistance, alert behaviors, or other custom needs based on your requirements. Once again, the training is entirely one-on-one to ensure the utmost focus and precision.
